Winter classes are open for registration!

The Winter 2013 class lineup is set and registration is now open. Join us in the cozy studio this winter! We have offerings for kids of all ages from 18 months to 6 years, and this semester we’ve added a new morning class to the lineup: Preschool Picasso!

For the youngest kids (18 – 36 months), we’ll be offering the usual four sections of our popular Sensory Fun class on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Sensory Fun is a wonderful opportunity to participate in your young child’s artistic exploration and discovery.

In Preschool Picasso, we introduce 3 through 5 year olds to techniques inspired by the great masters; it’s a kids’ introduction to art history! We’ll try our hand at Monet’s watercolor, Seurat’s pointillism, Calder’s mobiles, Warhol’s printmaking, and more! This new class is offered on Mondays at 10:00 am.

For kids aged 3 through 6, we have our Craft Class on Monday and Wednesday afternoons (sections are divided by age: Wednesdays for 3′s and 4′s, Mondays for 5′s and 6′s). Each week we’ll focus on a new crafting technique; some of the classes will include paper marbling, needlepoint, bookmaking, batik and paper dolls.
