Studio remains closed; classes running on Zoom

April 22, 2020

Hello Muckykids Community,

As we watch the situation with coronavirus, we continue to be uncertain of our reopening date. As of now we remain closed. It is unclear how and which small businesses will be allowed to open and when. I will keep you posted.

Our spring semester started last week on Zoom. Toddler classes and classes for 3-4 year olds were cancelled, as the screen in not an age-appropriate platform for young artists. Thankfully, all other classes are running.

Our summer program is still set to run as scheduled, at the studio. Fingers and toes crossed!! Of course, we will send any updates if scheduling changes.

We hope all of you are healthy and staying sane. It’s unfortunate that our space couldn’t stay open to provide an outlet. In our Zoom classes we are creating with “what we have”. It’s a refreshing challenge and a good reminder that, with a creative twist, art supplies are always close at hand… in the recycle bin, office supplies you might have in your desk, big boxes, little boxes, garden twine, old hardware and wire, food coloring, nature collected from outdoors, and anything else that inspires!

Take good care,
