Week 5: Printmaking (July 20 – 24)

In this workshop we will explore some of the many forms of printmaking. We will carve printing plates, build printing plates, print with found objects, print with nature, and make our own stamps. We will print, draw into, and collect artist trading cards. We will make paper pouches to collect the cards in. Some of the printed pieces will be turned into hanging sculpture! And finally, the students will curate and choose two of their favorite prints to frame.
