Week 5: Art and Science (July 24 – 28)

During this week we will wonder why the physical world behaves as it does. In doing so, explorations with gravity, optics, electricity, density, and states of matter will be a part of this week. Some of the many activities will include: playing with substances that absorb, dissolve, melt, and/or evaporate, sculpting with gravity as a pulling force, pendulum painting, catching and bending light, making colorful potions and building simple circuits. Enrollment limited to 8.
