Week 2: Art and Science (July 5 – 8)

With creative projects and thoughtful predictions, we will explore white light, gravity, states of matter, forces, motion, and heat. Activities will include making rainbows with prisms and photographing them, making colorful potions, freezing & melting various liquids (including slime!), and building rolling toys to test force, friction and motion. At the park we will play with gravity, make sun prints, do evaporation tests, craft nature wands and fairy houses, and play with bubbles. (This is a reduced-price four-day week; we will not meet on Monday July 4th.)
