Printmaking: Shape, Pattern and Print (Ages 8-10) – 1 hr 30 min x 10 weeks
This will be a dynamic semester full of geometric and organic shapes, how shapes can combine to make patterns, and learning about various printmaking styles. We will take inspiration from our favorite shapes, textile design, patterns in nature, and established printmakers. Screen printing, gelatin, collagraph, and carved rubber block will be some of the techniques we will explore. And we won’t limit ourselves to printing on just paper!
