Fiber Arts (Ages 6-8) – 2 hrs x 6 weeks
The world of fiber arts has a richness and depth that can take years to explore! We will start the semester by viewing fabrics, yarn and thread under a microscope to see how they are made and make our own printed fabrics to use. Other projects will include: making fusible fabric garlands, painting on stretched cotton, building felt sculptures, creating designs for zipper pouches, as well as sewing, weaving and embroidery. Enrollment limited to 7.
