Art Explorations: Section 1 (Fall 2019)

Art Explorations (Ages 3+4) – 1 hr x 10 weeks
In this class for preschoolers we will explore basic art concepts and skills! There will be projects that allow for experimentation with line quality, color theory, and shape. We will compare 2D vs 3D and symmetry vs asymmetry. Some of the projects will include printmaking, mixed media, wax resist, mosaics, color mixing, sculpture, and simple stitching. This is a process-based class, allowing for individual expression, experimentation, and emergent curriculum.
