Drop-In Studio activities for September 29 – October 1: This week is a chilly one, so we have a warm-colored activity to add a glow to your home; we’re crafting decorative garlands! Papers and tinsel can be attached to yarn with stickers, tape, or glue stick and the papers can be decorated with stamps. Playing with rice and beans/making shakers in bottles in another activity. There are chiming bowls in the trays, which make a beautiful sound when the rice and beans are poured into them. Pasta, animals and paint are on the paint table for a sensory exploratory experience. Clay is on the sensory table along with construction vehicles and tools. On the back tables we are color mixing with primary-ish colored bleeding tissue and water. Playshapes are on the shiny bench. The sticky wall is up. And we have stamps and paint at the easel wall.
