Drop-In Studio Activities for March 9 – 11: This week Muckykids is 7 years old!! In celebration we are doing one of the projects that I did on the very first drop-in week: quilting. Using fusible fabric pieces, you can arrange them on a felt base, we will iron it for you and there you have a quilted blanket for a lovie, a bookmark, a wall hanging, etc. If you want to go with the city theme that we have at the studio these days, you can quilt a building or quilt a mini city! Speaking of which, we are crafting city residents with clothespin dolls and lots of fun supplies. Make them for the studio, or bring them home. At another table you can build a building or sculpture using cornstarch builders. Again, add it to the city or take it home. At the easel wall we have primary colors out for painting with. The paint table has cars to paint with. The sensory table has slime and dinosaurs for gooey pretend play. The shape blocks are out. And the shape cutters are out with colorful paper.
