Drop-In Activities for March 15 – 17: This week we have spin art with simple circuits. This is a very dynamic activity with super cool results. Make several and you can connect them with a tape binding for a mini book. Another activity this week is making mobiles, or hanging sculpture. Sticky foam puppets is also set up. If a puppet doesn’t strike your fancy, it can be a magic wand activity instead! The sensory table has Bubber to play with. The paint table has printing with objects – always interesting results. The easel wall has liquid watercolors and brushes. The front bench has ‘optics play’ with flashlights, mirrors, color films, opaque paper, and more. The back bench has pinecones that can be decorated with mini pompoms using friction.
