Drop-In Studio activities for March 10 – 12: Muckykids turned 6 this week!! Thank you so very much to all who have supported the studio. And thank you for allowing your children the experience of process oriented artistic exploration and expression!! To celebrate the studio’s birthday we are crafting celebration wands using light weight ribbons and fabric strips—they can double as wind wands on the way home! ☺ At the back tables we are making shadow shapes with opaque papers as well as color films. We have decorative-edged scissors at the table for added shadow detail. In anticipation of spring we are making feathered friends using modeling dough, markers, feathers and various other supplies that can decorate the dough. At the easel liquid watercolors are out. Painting with trains and cars on the paintable. Oobleck (my very favorite) is at the sensory table. Stamping and play shapes are on the side benches.
