Drop-In Studio Activities for March 1 – 3: This week we are making shadow puppets and we have a screen & flashlights for putting on a show! At the paint table we are doing fold paintings – always a surprise inside :) Nature wands are another choice this week. There is colored masking tape, yarns, wires, and embellishments to decorate your wand with. The sensory table has a new batch of play dough paired with city-themed figures for pretend play. The front bench has shape cutters, paint chips, and mini paper bags – cut and collect shapes for a rainy day activity. We are also painting with golf balls in boxes, a fun and dynamic activity. On one of the front tables there are supplies to make letter strips or signs, using letter stamps, markers, and foam letters that can be glued on.
