Drop-In Studio activities for December 10 – 12: This week we continue our holiday crafting. At the back table we are making laminated charms and ornaments with decorative papers, tapes, stickers, shape cutters, colored pencils and metallic markers. You can bring in small printed photos to add to your laminated creations to make them even more personal! Another holiday craft is making garlands and door jingles – a studio favorite. Using wires or strings, thread on bells and decorative supplies. Alternatively, use stickers or glue to hold supplies in place. Either way these are fun and festive decorations! We have wooden ornaments that we’re coloring with bleeding tissue paper and pastels. There is also paper at this table for making cards. At the paint table we have fold paintings. Liquid watercolors are at the easel. Slime is at the sensory table. A color and sound sensory bench is set up, as well as the magnetic sculpture set.
