Drop-In is open all week! Activities for Dec 16 – 21

Drop-In Studio activities for December 16 – 21: Our extended December hours continue! Drop-In Studio will be open Monday-Saturday, 10:00-5:00. This week we’re laminating! It’s so much fun to create 2-D paper creations and laminate them. They make great gifts and ornaments, too (bookmarks, beads for jewelry…). We will also have yarn crafts – specifically winding yarn around objects, as well as circles with cut notches, which is a variation on the spirelli craft we have done in the past. At the sensory table there will be cloud dough to play with, color mixing at the paint table, and our easel activity is painting with rolling balls. Magnet play will be set up, gift tags and gift boxes are an ongoing activity, and our igloo construction is well on its way!! We also have wooden shapes to decorate using bleeding tissue paper and water – a beautiful effect.
