Drop-In activities for June 20 – 22

Drop-In Studio activities for June 20 – 22: This week we have two activities to kick off summer: (to celebrate open windows) crafting wind chimes using recycled materials and (to stay cool) playing with colored ice and bleeding tissue paper. At the paint table, we will be painting with cars, trucks and trains. Press textures into and add color to Model Magic. Mix colors using notebook tabs on an old slide-viewing table. Play with goop (cornstarch and water) and dinosaurs at the sensory table. At the easel wall we will have trays of paint with various object to print with. Mirror drawings will be set up, as well as hammering into styrofoam.
