Drop-In Activities for May 2 – 4: This week we have a fun collection of paper craft projects. One is attaching paper shapes together with tape and paper fasteners. You can stay 2D or fold and bend the paper to make a 3D piece. We also have nature themed papers and magazines for nature collage. Tell a story of an ecosystem or habitat in your collage. At the back tables we are doing spin art using simple circuits with motors – a Muckykids favorite! The back bench has mail making with post office and animal stamps, stickers and markers. The mailbox makes for fun make believe play!! The sensory table has a fresh batch of green play dough paired with items from nature and woodland creatures – you can build a habitat to play with. The paint table has wax resist. And the easel wall has brushes with tempera paints.
