Drop-In Activities for November 1 – 3: After all the Halloween excitement, this week we have a few especially relaxing activities. At the back tables we are crafting Spirelli, which involves winding string around paper shapes – quiet and rhythmic. We have our rock collection out for painting with water – very soothing. The paint table has printing with geometric shapes and paint. Create images by connecting the shapes, make a pattern, or simply enjoy the printing process. The sensory table has Bubber to play with. The easel wall has liquid watercolors. The back bench has draw-and-erase on pumpkins. We also have a fun recycle craft activity with a vehicle theme, but really you can make anything! And we have lots of left-behind wooden figures that would love to be adopted as drivers or inhabitants of the recycle craft creations. :)
