Drop-In Studio Activities for March 22 – 24

Drop-In Activities for March 22 – 24: This week, despite the snow, we are starting springtime crafting!! At the back table we have beautiful wooden eggs that can be drawn on with pastels and painted with liquid watercolors. Make a nest or basket for the eggs at one of the front tables. Choose a small box and make it cozy with feathers, string, nest fillings, and even make a baby or mother bird to keep the eggs warm. Decorate the nest with stickers and colored tapes. We also have spring-themed shrinky dinks. We have beads, string, and keys rings to go along with the shrinky dinks. The sensory table has playdough to squish, squeeze and mold. The paint table has whales, paint and pasta for a sensory painting experience. The easel wall has brushes and tempera paint. The tool bench is set up in back. And on the front bench we are writing hieroglyphics because our pyramid is finally done!!! :)
