Drop-In Studio activities for September 1 – 3: This week we have a crown making activity celebrating the transition into new grades. If you’re starting 3rd grade, you can make a crown announcing it. Or if you’re two years old, you can make a crown celebrating that. :) At the back tables we are making paper straw jewelry with pendants to compliment the crowns. You can also make backpack charms with the supplies. At the paint table we have new paint tools to experiment with. At the easel we are painting with brushes. On the side bench sculpture on craft sticks is set up, using cornstarch packing peanuts and moisture to connect them. The back bench is sticky! With the various objects you can make temporary compositions. And play dough is on the sensory table.
