Drop-In Studio activities for August 27 – 29

Drop-In Studio activities for August 27 – 29: This week we are making drums. Decorate a canister with stickers and tape, embellish drumsticks, add a strap, and presto… an awesome instrument! We also have a fun sculpture activity, using dense foam as a base. Wires pierce the foam easily and serve as one of the sculptural components along with various craft supplies — always a colorful and lively creation. At the paint table we have a new set of jumbo letter stamps. We are printing onto wide paper strips… maybe a name or letter sign to decorate a bedroom? Stones are set up for brushing with water. The light table is on. Bubber is at the sensory table. And liquid watercolors are at the easel wall.
