Drop-In Studio activities for September 25 – 27: This week we are making wands! Nature wands and magic wands. The nature wands are with sticks, yarn, colored tape, and beads. The magic wands are with a sticky foam base and lots of sequins, gems, glitter and more to embellish. At the paint table there are trains and racecars for making tracks through the paint. At the easel there is circle printing. Playdough is at the sensory table with farm animals, objects from nature and dough tools. We are also building sculptures using thick foam bases that hold craft wires really nicely – insert wires and thread various objects onto the wires. Balance is a neat aspect of this activity. The sticky wall is back for a fun sensory experience. We have markers and stamping set up, plus the magnetic sculpture set.
